Footbridge Media Launches Google PPC Management Service

adwords certified partner web EN Footbridge Media Launches Google PPC Management ServiceFor many years now clients have been asking if we knew anyone who can do this for them. Over the years I have recommended a few, but over time I felt uncomfortable, not knowing if my clients were receiving the best ROI and service from these referrals or any other PPC management service. For the past 12 months, our consultants have been beta testing our own Google adwords campaigns with some of our clients, and we believe we now are able to offer this service to our clients with superior results.

Why Should You Even Blog?

contractor blogging 300x223 Why Should You Even Blog?Lately we have noticed many of our clients have begun participating on their own blogs as well as other blog sites like Ask-A-Pro. Though I try to encourage our clients to blog/write if possible, I do understand that all contractors may not have the time, skill or desire to write on a regular basis. Please understand, that if you do not have anything important/valuable/pertinent that will benefit your clients and potential clients, then do not even bother posting. Blogging is an informational resource that allows you to share with your clients important information that they are searching for. Do not try to make your posts focus on search engine optimization. Write for your audience, allow Footbridge Media to worry about the SEO part.

Is Google Places Going to be The Next Yellow Pages?

googleplaces Is Google Places Going to be The Next Yellow Pages? As Google continues to revamp the Places section and their launch of their new social media network, Google + there has been some noticeable changes that will affect the entire Google Places and Map section. The most severe changes to Google Places involve the removal of client reviews from third party websites within the Place page, and the prohibition of P.O. Boxes as acceptable addresses. One additional change is the removal of the additional information/SEO content that people would enter into their place page such as service areas, products, services etc.

A Response Is Worth More Than You May Know

reply A Response Is Worth More Than You May KnowI cannot shout loud enough the benefits of responding to everything. If it’s an article you write for your blog, and someone leaves a comment, respond to that. Someone @replied to you on twitter? Respond. Emails that need to be dealt with, respond. There is something to be said about time management, but I’ll talk about that in the future.

Let’s take a look at some twitter statistics, shall we?

According to “Useful Social Media“, over 58% of people who have tweeted about a bad experience regarding a certain business have never received a response from that company they mentioned. But the majority of those people expect a response…..and what happens to their attitude towards that company if there is no response?

Google Changes and How It Affects Contractors

google+ logo Google Changes and How It Affects ContractorsIn the past six months there has been many changes over at Google, including Google Places, Google Panda and their launch of their new social network Google+. As a home improvement contractor managing all these changes can be time consuming and overwhelming, so I just wanted to give some tidbits and updates on what you need to know without having to dredge through all the information you may be hearing.

Google Places: It appears that Google Places is in a constant state of flux. From deleting reviews, to as of today, eliminating descriptions it appears that Google is revamping their Places section to coincide with their new Google+ network, which I will discuss further. They have eliminated third party review snippets that used to exist. Instead there are links to review sites.
